Myrtle Beach Our Vacation Condo

 

Our Home Away From Home:

My Husband and I decided to buy an investment property and we chose Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In 2021 we had narrow down our list of places to just two Virginia Beach and Myrtle Beach. Packing up the car for a road trip to visit both places which was a must to be 100% sure on where we wanted to purchase our condo.  We had always wanted to buy a beach front property and knowing now was that time to finally make this part of our adventure come true. The main reason we chose Myrtle Beach was because there was just a lot more things to do then Virginia Beach. From the night life, to shows, to shopping and so much more we figured we would enjoy our condo much more with all the amenity Myrtle Beach had to offer.

When my son was five, we took a vacation to Myrtle Beach enjoying the beach, entertainment, and just having a blast. Now we own a part of Myrtle Beach and get to enjoy it year after year. 

Our Condo is located three buildings from the start of the boardwalk on the north side of Myrtle Beach. I can defiantly say that our condo is the heart of Myrtle Beach night life.

Only owning our condo for a year now, we have all ready made so many new memories. We can’t wait to make even more in the future.

We live in Queens, New York and can’t manage our condo ourselves. So we hirer a management company. This is one of the hardest parts to owning a property that you plan on making a vacation rental. They will be what your renters will see from the beginning to the end. They help book the trip, clean your condo, answer question and just making sure your guest have the best experience. This making them want to return or tell their friends and family about your rental. 

 

We made the mistake of hiring a company without knowing their back ground the first round. Which caused us to lose money, from things being broken, items being stolen, to the place not being cleaned decently and decided we needed to interview others. 

 

We now have Big Fish Rentals handling our property things that stood out with this company was the fact that they have been doing this for many years. They are one of the smaller rental companies with little over 250 units that they manage throughout the year. Which means they can focus on making sure the little thing to the big things are handle fast and efficiently. We are looking forward to seeing how they manage our condo this year.

Our family hopes that if you’re thinking about visiting Myrtle Beach you will consider our condo but most of all we hope that you have the best time where ever you stay in Myrtle Beach.
